I am embarrassed to say that I love Citizen Cider but had not yet made it to Pine St. to go to the tasting room they have. I really expected it to be just a small sampling room, similar to what you would find at a winery but I was really pleasantly surprised to see that it was much more of a destination then I had anticipated. It is a good sized and felt open, warm and cozy and a great overall atmosphere- which for me is everything! Very nice bar and with open tables around. The night that I stopped in there was a solo acoustic guitarist playing which was really nice. I sat at the bar with the intention of getting a growler for a gift for the up coming holiday but had to do a little sampling since I was there. Very inexpensive for the sampling and it was so much fun. I added a french fry to my order and sipped some samples and munched on some really tasty fries! The menu was very nice and included everything from salads, to burgers, to corn-dogs to chicken n briskets, poutine, chicken wings and cheese plates. They also do weekly specials which include 1/2 price cider on Mondays, Taco Tuesdays (vegetarian option!) $5 and Corn-dog and a Can on Fridays for $5. If you haven't been here yet trust me its worth a try. I have very high expectations and consider myself a foodie and this place is a spot to hit.
