Over the last fifteen years plus years Dorset Street in South Burlington has been loading up on residential properties -- including ranges of condos by Dorset Park including Heatherfield, one of the newest condo developments with open first level space, large kitchens and a premium location between Spear and Dorset; further on to the Vermont National County Club which has large, beautiful condos known as Fairway Estates just off the putting green, and further down you'll find a newer neighborhood known as Cider Mill which features large carriage homes, located behind an operating local store and deli ship called the Cider Mill. Dorset Farms, a large 200 plus-home residential neighborhood with a mix of condos and single-family homes is located just down the road and around the corner -- originally built in the late 90's and early-2000's this neighborhood is well designed and has a great community feel, and many of the homes have large, private yards and great views.
This is only a selection of developments within a five-mile radius, and right now there are several condos available in this area, including a few in Fairway Estates, Ironwood, and Inverness -- the latter of which have amazing space, loads of natural light, and overall great layout and design -- easily one of the best neighborhoods in the area to be a part of. Units in these neighborhoods range from mid-high $400K - mid-$500K, depending on a number of factors. Most of the neighborhoods I mentioned are east least $250,000 -- starting over by Dorset Park, Heatherfield units range from mid-high $300K range, as will homes in Cider Mill and Dorset Farms. Some of the large homes surrounding the Golf Course are often more, and can range in the $700K - $900K range.
