Every month the Champlain Valley Expo does a great job of bringing in fresh events for the community, ranging from the Champlain Valley Fair in late Summer, to the Vermont Home and Garden Show and Lamoille Valley Fish & Game Club Gun Show, which took place this past weekend, to Antique Shows, and next weekend is the Everything Equine and Canine at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex.
The Champlain Valley Expo events are a great place to meet with other people in the community that share your passion – possibly some neighbors you've never met before, or experts to provide advice. This year at the Vermont Home and Garden Show, they featured events and seminars with a range of topics – from a live build of a tiny house, to an ‘ask an expert’ section to ask professionals from different trades for advice or recommendations. The events usually feature multiple vendors, local businesses, and organizations within the industry and raffles with the opportunity to win something.
The venue plays host to dozens of events throughout the year, so be sure to checkout the link to the Champlain Valley Exposition's website below and review their calendar of upcoming events that interest you. Most of the events have minimal entrance fees and children under 12 are usually free , and May will begin the month with the 19th Annual Spring Craft Show and Antique Spring Expo and Sale.
